Is it Wrong to Write Only Profitable Books?

Until I get questions from people, I'll answer questions I find in different writing groups.

People write books for many reasons. So it isn't wrong to write books for the sole purpose of making money. We all need to get money on the table somehow.

But if you still want to write books purely for yourself, you can. In fact you could write both. The personal books can be little rewards for yourself.

Again: there is no wrong reason for writing a book.
