After the Great War that saw Nieth and wyverns regulated to the continent of Horngul, a society formed where Nieth were the only ones in control. Humans could have certain rights but only if their masters allowed them. The only way a human could have any power was to become a wyvern rider.
Liaban finds herself constantly drawn to the glory of becoming a rider. To her it's the only way she will ever be free. But her Nieth brother constantly seeks to stop her from having any hope. When a way to become a rider finally opens up, she finds herself in a much larger world than she could have ever imagined.
