Before the Fic
Some information remains the same. The fic deviates from canon with R'hllor's origin story.

Death of a Wyvern and the Start of a Plan
R'hllor's wyvern died and he became a Ghost. It was not unheard of for a Ghost to leave Sothoroys for a little while. The only rule was to do your best not to reveal the existence of Nieth. He followed this rule and so no one was concerned.

While in Essos R'hllor found a way for immortality and caused chaos for humans. Not big events, but enough to be noticed by the natives. He even made a religion around himself as it pleased him to do so. He foresaw that there would be someone that could kill him in the future. He decided to make it so his priestesses would be an extra set of eyes for him.

The End
Those in Sothoroys had visions of R'hllor bringing doom to the land. So Chl'lor lead a group in charge of bringing him back alive or dead. At first Chl'lor put the task of killing the rogue to Daenerys Targaryen and later to another.

R'hllor found himself face to face with Rin, the one who could kill him. He fought hard but the Kaari killed him.

TRIVIA
-The idea for making R'hllor a Nieth started when I thought of him as a villain.
-R'hllor used a story about making Valyrian steel to be the way his priestesses looked for the only person that could kill him. That story became known as the Azor Ahai Prophecy.
