Search for R'hllor
The Nieth wanted to bring Rhl'lor to justice due to the chaos he had caused. Leaving Sothoroys once one of his wyverns had died was all within the law. However, he interfered too much in both Essos and Westeros. Nieth saw signs that indicated the rogue could bring doom to Sothoroys and so he had to be stopped. The plan was to bring him back home alive or dead.

The search was lead by Chl'lor who also took two human wyvern riders by his side.

The Death of R'hllor
Chl'lor arrived in King's Landing shortly after Rin had decided to rebel against Daenerys Targaryen. As she held the Iron Throne, the most powerful position, he decided to make an alliance with her. The queen agreed that if he lent his support to her then she would kill R'hllor.

Only after he had made the alliance did he realize the political situation consuming Westeros. But, as a Nieth, that was no problem to him. If Rin killed Daenerys then he would gladly switch sides. The lives of individual humans meant nothing to him.

Chl'lor told Rin as much with Daenerys beside him. He kept that promise and rushed back to Sothoroys once the Kaari had killed R'hllor.

Too Late
Due to the distance, Nieth support didn't get to Westeros in time to fight in the War for the Dawn. Chl'lor and others of his kind returned to help Rin rebuild her kingdom instead. Even when he had the opportunity to go back home, he decided to live in Storm's End.
