Joining the Mormonts
K-Mart was a member of Claire Redfield's group when she met Rin. After the girl gave her approval of the woman, Rin was allowed into the group. She was not happy when the woman decided to leave and overjoyed when their paths crossed again.

K-Mart was the first to learn who Rin was. She sided with the woman and agreed to help her escape with Alec and Doctor Isaacs. All of them, minus Alec who was killed by a stray bullet, arrived in Eden Base. After that she was quickly admitted into the Mormonts as well as being put on the ruling council of the group.

Dear Friend and Ally
All throughout the war K-Mart was a dear friend to Rin. She gave her friendship and learned to embrace the role of leader.

K-Mart talked to Rin briefly before she left Earth.
