Killing Cersei and Becoming Rin's Pupil
After leaving Braavos Arya Stark continues to kill those on her list. She makes it to King's Landing when a badly scarred woman is able to best her. To the Stark's surprise the woman is able to see under her disguise. To her even greater surprise the woman is able to make the wildfire that consumed the city to pass into the sky harmlessly.
This woman reveals herself to be Rin and both race to the Red Keep where Cersei Lannister is. There they see Jaime Lannister and the queen alive. Arya doesn't like it, but she allows Rin to keep the Lannister woman alive so that Daenerys Targaryen can kill her.
While waiting for Daenerys, Arya trains under Rin. She also forms a relationship with Gendry which is the sole reason he is legitimized and becomes ruler of Dragonstone. Rin had gotten the home of House Baratheon mixed up or else he would've been gifted Storm's End.
Death of Gendry Baratheon and the Downfall of Daenerys
Rin had a bad feeling that the rumors of Daenerys being mad were true. Arya was put in charge of evacuating some of the people of King's Landing to Dragonstone. They were reunited when Rin and a few others escaped the treacherous meeting at the Dragonpit.
On Dragonstone Arya lost Gendry when he was killed by a Shadow while defending Rin. During her time on the island she became Viserion's rider.
She rode Viserion during the Battle of the Eyrie and after helped convince Jon to agree to marry Rin. This even though she felt drawn to him as more than a sibling.
Arya also rode Viserion during the Battle of Bear Island which was when Daenerys was finally killed.
The War for the Dawn
Rin decided to go beyond the Wall to make a first strike against the Night King's army. Arya survived but lost Viserion in the process. After going back across the Wall Rin, Jorah, Jon, and Arya decided to rest before journeying to Castle Black. That night Arya and Jon consummated their affections for each other.
When Bran was able to allow Viserion to get away from the Night King's control, he chose Lei as his rider. Arya did not mind and continued to do her duty as a fighter.
Jon died during the final battle with the Night King and so Sandor Clegane was able to marry Arya.
TRIVIA
-I ship Arya/Jon. I am surprised with the popularity of Jon/Dany that so many are disgusted by the ship.
-Arya riding Viserion symbolizes Rin's admiration of the Stark.
-Rin promised Arya that, if possible, she would be able to kill Cersei Lannister. This promise was kept and Arya ended up brutally torturing the Lannister. After that Viserion burned and ate the former queen.
