HISTORY
Before the Fic
This character is an original character and he has no backstory other than what the fic says.
The Discovery
Franc Raqus decided to take a journey to Old Valyria to see the Stone Men for himself. He figured that if he saw them for himself that he would be able to understand greyscale better. He saw a Stone Man that was acting extremely oddly, though the others on the expedition didn't see anything noteworthy.
He named the woman Rin and took her back to the Raqus Estate. While chained up, Franc did his best to see if he could cure her. He put a dragon egg next to her to make the room a little more homely.
Due to a man Franc had angered, his home was attacked by Unsullied. If not for Rin being cured by a miracle and the dragon hatching, he and his family would've died that night.
Helping Daenerys Targaryen
Franc was there for Rin, though he found her to be away often after the dragon grew too large for the estate to hold her.
He ran into Jorah Mormont when the dishonored knight was looking for a cure. Franc was in need of a test subject for a new cure and so agreed to treat the man for free. Shortly after that Daenerys Targaryen came on dragonback under Rin's orders.
Franc helped the Targaryen, married his adopted daughter to Jorah, and said farewell to Rin.
TRIVIA
-Franc specializes in curing greyscale so he won't have problems surviving in Essos after slavery is banned.
-Franc succeeds at curing greyscale just as often as he fails.
-Originally Rin was supposed to run into Jorah and over some time fall for him. She would then take him to the Raqus Estate and Franc would treat him for free as he cared for his adopted daughter's happiness. This beginning was dropped as I was unsure of how long I'd be interested in writing about Rin's adventures.
