Most information remains the same. Jon's history deviates from canon during Season 8.
The Battle of Winterfell
In a last desperate move against the Night King, Jon Snow decides to have the battle for the fate of humanity at Winterfell. He flies Rhaegal and Daenerys Targaryen flies Drogon to fight against the Night King. During the sky battle Jon is knocked from Rhaegal and ends up fighting alongside Ser Jorah Mormont and Tormund Giantsbane.
Jon and the other two end up fighting the Night King. During their fight Arya Stark attempts to kill the Night King and ends up being killed by his hand. Jon, Jorah, and Tormund continue their fight and finally kill the monster. What surprises him is killing the Night King doesn't kill the dead.
Jon soon decides to get back on Rhaegal and inform Daenerys Targaryen what has happened with the Night King. He will also tell her the killing the White Walkers will kill the dead for certain. Though he doesn't seem to acknowledge Jorah's search for Melisandre, he also plans to tell Daenerys that.
Jon and Daenerys argue about whether or not to burn the White Walkers now or wait for Melisandre. The Targaryen starts to burn Winterfell and Jon manages to stop her from destroying everything.
After the Battle
During the feast, Jon Snow is legitimized as Jon Stark. Later he and Daenerys Targaryen talk in a small room some distance from the Great Hall. She wishes for him to hide his true heritage from Sansa Stark which Jon disagrees with. Upon leaving the small room he looks at Jorah Mormont and passes the older man without speaking.
Jon Stark talks with commoners to see how repairing Winterfell is going. After talking to one man Jorah Mormont walks up to him. The pair talk and Jon ends up offering Ghost as a gift to the older man.
Jon joins the meeting where Sansa Stark offers Daenerys Targaryen a chance to rest her troops. He argues for Daenerys to accept his sister's offer.
At Jorah Mormont and Daenerys Targaryen's wedding, Jon gets drunk and dances intimately with Jorah. Once Jorah realizes who he's dancing with, he goes back to his wife.
Before leaving Winterfell, Jon Stark goes to check up on Jorah Mormont. He is both surprised and impressed when he sees that the king has chosen to ride Ghost instead of a horse. Jorah reassures him that one day he will be comfortable flying on Rhaegal.
While riding Rhaegal south, he loses control of his mount briefly.
Jon Stark is shocked and disgusted at what his own men did to Missandei. Even though he doesn't agree with Daenerys Targaryen's choice of execution method, he reprimands one of his men that whimpers shortly before death.
At the meeting afterwards, Jon remains silent. He listens as everyone debates whether or not Daenerys should continue to burn people alive. After everyone but him, Daenerys, and Jorah Mormont go to the beach to watch Varys be burned alive for being a traitor he finally speaks. He tells the queen that he won't stand idly by as she destroys Westeros. His resolve to leave her side is strengthened when she threatens to burn Winterfell to the ground. He breaks the alliance between himself and Daenerys when he leaves the room.
Jon Stark watched the movements of his men from a cliff a few nights later. Jorah Mormont and Ghost find the man while on a walk. Jon and Jorah argue whether or not Daenerys Targaryen is going mad. Before Jon leaves on Rhaegal, he kisses Jorah and the man returns the kiss. Jon reveals that he loves Jorah and that he couldn't leave without seeing if the older man would return his affections. Jon then pleads with Jorah to leave with him so they can be together. Jorah refuses as he believes Daenerys can be saved.
TRIVIA
-Jon Snow flies the dragon Rhaegal. The dragon, ironically, is named after his birth father.
-After Jon Stark was resurrected he felt disconnected from Ghost hence he left the direwolf at Winterfell as he went to meet with Daenerys Targaryen at Winterfell.
-Jon considers Ghost a part of his soul.
-Jon is seated to the left of Daenerys Targaryen when Jorah Mormont is declared King.
