Location: Jorn
Importance:
At one time both humans and Nieth lived together on Jorn. Wyverns and dragons also lived in an uneasy alliance. They didn't like each other but could co-exist. Then a great war between humans and Nieth started as tensions between the four creatures started to rise. The Nieth believed themselves greater than humans and the humans would not bow down.
During the course of the great war humans mostly rode dragons and Nieth mostly rode wyverns. This caused an even greater divide between the two species.
The humans were able to drive the Nieth to the continent of Horngul before tensions eased enough for the war to stop. Humans still attempt to invade the Nieth's land, but no invasion attempt has succeeded as the rest of Jorn doesn't care enough.
At least for the time being...
Without a wyvern a rider had intense training, more than intense, that made it so that all their senses were nearly like that of a Nieth. And those creatures, the overlords of my home, were deadly. They appeared to be a combination of an insect and a lizard. Their eyes were compound like that of a fly while they had the tail of a lizard. Before the Great War they had lived all across Jorn with humans. After...after the remaining Nieth had been driven to the continent of Horngul. Horngul was my home. The Nieth my masters. The wyverns my only way to freedom.
