HISTORY

Before Becoming a Rider

Tersa

At this time Mont was with his third wyvern, a woman called Tersa asked for him to train her. As he trained her he fell in love. Love between riders is risky as upon getting a wyvern emotional connections can be severed. Mont was well aware of this and took the risk anyways. They got married and stayed so even as Tersa rode her second wyvern.

Mont rode a Jornish but risked everything when Tersa asked for help. Some dragon riders were spotted over Horngul and needed to be chased away. Mont's steed wasn't meant for a skirmish like the one that would ensue.

His third wyvern was killed and he lost any yearning for Tersa.


Finding a New Wyvern

Mont found a home in Fero, Thar in his search for a new wyvern. The location was good for finding what he needed. Another reason he stayed is due to feeling a connection to Liaban, a woman he has a romantic interest in but hasn't acted on it. He also feels that the wyvern's call is telling him to stay by her side.

-Lydia was the name of his third wyvern.
-Tersa swore that if her or Mont became a Ghost, that she would keep their unborn child. This oath had to be made as when a rider spouse became a Ghost, there had been instances of women committing abortions.
