HISTORY

Before the Fic
Most information remains the same. Jorah's history changes after Daenerys Targaryen takes him back into her service after exiling him twice.

The Raqus Estate
Jorah was traveling to find a cure and ran into a man called Franc Raqus. He was working on another cure for greyscale and offered the exiled knight the cure for free. Jorah, not having many options, agreed.

Once at the Raqus Estate he was given a room and began the cure. It was successful but before he could go to Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen arrived on Drogon's back. She reported that Daario Naharis had attempted to assassinate her but a strange woman had helped her. While both him and the Targaryen found their affections turning romantic, they eventually agreed against the coupling. Her reasoning was that she had done too much wrong to him to feel as if she had earned his love. Jorah found nothing to forgive, but agreed with her reasoning.

The moment Jorah saw Rin, he felt something stir within him. A longing and a need coursed through his veins. It pleased him that she had risked her life for his queen. Both him and Rin warned the queen to take her time in taking back the city.

That night the two made love and he found himself the first man to ever enter her. After he sensed something strange and while Rin's body hadn't moved, she claimed to have been to another world. A nightmare that she didn't know if she would ever return from. He believed her.

Taking Back Meereen
While Rin had kept secret her history the previous day, she now opened up about her past. She revealed that she could turn into a dragon and that she chose Jorah for her rider. She also agreed to help teach the two more about dragons. For a long time him, Daenerys, and Rin planned how to take back Meereen. The arrival of Tyrion Lannister added more information to help strategize from.

During this time Jorah was there to comfort Rin whenever she returned from the Nightmare. She revealed to him that she had taken Alexander Isaacs as a lover and he eventually gave her his blessing on the matter. While she was in the Nightmare she started to become familiar with her powers. At the Raqus Estate he helped her practice.

Rin and Jorah eventually married. Daenerys acted as their priest.

Daenerys, Jorah, Rin, and Tyrion made a plan to steal back her two other dragons. Daario had managed to find men to become dragonriders and that power needed to be disabled before the attack could begin. The mission was successful and Rin chose Tyrion as Rhaegal's rider.

Near the start of the Battle of Meereen, Yara and Theon Greyjoy arrived to lend their support. Jorah could tell that the two women wanted each other.

During that battle, Jorah rode Rin and helped bring Daario Naharis to the fighting pits. There he was injected with Rin's blood and burned from the inside.

After the battle a Rasiki informed Jorah's wife that she was the last of House Kaari and presented the gift of House Kaari's ancestral sword. Rin named it Alexander after her second husband.

Daenerys' Conquest of Westeros and the Hint of Madness
Jorah and Rin were expecting a child. If it was a boy they would name it Jeor after his father. Before they reached Westeros, Euron Greyjoy attacked the fleet. Rin fought and after the battle was won, got teleported by the Rasiki. As teleportation was not an exact art, there was no news about his wife to the point many began doubting she was even alive.

As Daenerys' conquest of Westeros continued, she became mad with power due to what Yara Greyjoy was whispering. She betrayed Jorah and he was captured by Littlefinger along with Sansa Stark and Tormund. The man took them to King's Landing to earn Queen Cersei Lannister's favor but instead found Rin as the new queen.

He figured that he could talk to Rin as any other person. That she would be swayed by words like a human. But she saw through him and decided that it would be safer to kill him. She was also angered by the fact Littlefinger had captured her husband. She slew him in the Throne Room and ordered Jorah to remove Longclaw from the man's body. It took some coaxing, due to him not feeling worthy, but he eventually agreed.

Upon removing Longclaw from Littlefinger's corpse, the sword became covered in a flame and so everyone knew Jorah was Azor Ahai. It was guessed that the Valyrian sword was Lightbringer. Soon after that Jorah agreed to an offer Rin had made earlier: he would share in Rin's life so that he could spend an eternity with her.

Escape from King's Landing
Rin and Jorah bonded for the first time since Essos. He found himself fitting into the role of a father. But there was worry in the air as Daenerys would soon come to King's Landing and on one knew how she would react. If Rin could even hope to control the madness.

During the meeting with Daenerys it was made clear that she was consumed by her father's madness. She killed Yara so that she could marry Cersei Lannister. She used Drogon to burn Sansa Stark and Rin, Jeor, and Jorah were also consumed by the flames. However, only Sansa and Jeor were killed.

After Rin mourned, she helped Jorah and a few others escape. Viserion ended up leaving Daenerys' side during the escape. A few dragons Rin had met while over in an alternate reality, helped her during the flight to Dragonstone. While leaving the city, strange creatures could be seen in the distance. But it would risk too much to investigate.

At Dragonstone
It had been Arya Stark's, Lei Lannister's, and Jaime Lannister's duty to transport the majority of those in King's Landing to Dragonstone. Rin wasn't going to risk her subject's lives on the hope Daenerys would return to sanity.

Jorah, Rin, and the others met up on Dragonstone. There Rin gave everyone the choice of joining her, Daenerys, or leaving until the fighting was done. The majority decided to stay with her as she had built up a name for herself while in King's Landing.

While planning how best to win back the Iron Throne, a Shadow assassin came for Rin. Using powers granted to her by the wildfire, she was able to drive the creature away from her. Unfortunately she was unable to kill it and it killed Gendry Baratheon before fading into nothing.

Melisandre was able to save Rin's life and Jorah was grateful. However, that was not enough to make the woman's survival assured as she had committed great crimes. Rin decided to put the Red Priestess' life in Arya Stark's hand.

Battle of the Eyrie
On the way to the Eyrie to rescue Jon Snow, they ran into Ser Barristan Selmy. It turned out that the fabric of space and time was breaking down due to Jorah's wife living in two realities at once. Rin had previously blamed the knight for helping Jorah contract greyscale. Acting against her personal feelings, she allowed Selmy to join her army.

Rin was able to take the Eyrie by only killing Lord Robin Arryn. It was then she found a home for House Kaari.

She told Jon about her offer for a political marriage. She wanted this so that she could symbolically repair the divide between House Kaari and Targaryen. He agreed and she legitimized him so that he became a Stark.

During Rin's torture in King's Landing by Cersei, she had become close to Bronn and her emotions were confused. In a show of good faith to his wife, Jorah allowed Bronn to join in on the lovemaking when Jon agreed to become her second husband.

Soon after Cersei came as she thought Lord Robin Arryn was alive. Rin allowed Arya to choose how to torture the former queen. She was nearly dead by the time Daenerys arrived. Rin went to meet the Targaryen alone and came back to inform everyone that they would soon be fighting off the Mad Queen.

Jorah rode Rin in the battle and found a new enemy. The wyverns from Sothoryos were smaller than dragons but more maneuverable. Rin was only able to kill one during the entire battle. During the battle both had attempted to save Tyrion but he was burned alive by the wyvern's acidic breath.

Battle of Bear Island
Jorah, Rin, Jon, and the others stop at Winterfell on their way to Bear Island. Daenerys had threatened to destroy Jorah's House in an act of revenge. While resting Jorah found his feelings for Jon increasing and yet he was afraid of those feelings.

After having sex with Jon, Rin was in pain and Jorah was worried for her safety. Soon after they flew to Bear Island. Jon rode Rhaegal, the dragon he was given after the Battle of the Eyrie.

Lady Lyanna Mormont forgave Jorah his sins and allowed him back in his old House. After the meeting Rin laid eggs. It turned out that mixing Kaari and Targaryen blood allowed the next stage of the Kaari to form.

Jorah rode Rin during the battle and was fearful about killing Daenerys the entire time. He was Azor Ahai and Daenerys was Nissa Nissa. It was his duty to kill the woman he had loved. But when Rin killed Drogon and brought the Targaryen down for execution, his wife took that burden from him.

It was then revealed that it was Rin and Alexander who were the two halves of Lightbringer. Jorah had, therefore, used Lightbringer to kill Nissa Nissa and had not averted the prophecy.

After the battle Jorah and Jon finally consummated their affections.

The First Strike Against the Dead
Jon received news that Bran had been spotted by Castle black. So him, Jorah, and Rin headed there. When they went there to get Bran, they also discovered Benjen Stark. It was revealed that he was Rin's father and, therefore, Jon had committed incest. After that time Jon didn't want to have sex with Rin ever again.

As a distraction, all dragons and most dragonriders, were tasked to go over the Wall and attack the dead. It was only meant to destroy some of the army of the dead and not be a killing blow. Jorah, of course, joined in as he rode Rin.

During the skirmish Viserion was killed and Arya Stark nearly perished. Rin and the others then flew as fast as they could to get back to Westeros. As they flew back into the Seven Kingdoms, Ice Dragons broke free from the Wall and headed towards the dead.

After resting for the night, they all headed back to Castle Black.

The Final Fight
Jorah and Rin had agreed to kill R'hllor. This would earn the alliance of the Nieth. As the Mormont merely had to tell Rin to do something to activate her Lightbringer powers, he could stay and fight in Westeros while she went to kill a god-like being.

Rin left with Melisandre while Jorah lead the fight with Jon. During the intense fighting with the dead, Jon was captured by the Night King. On a good note, Bran Stark had been able to free Viserion from the Night King's control. It was a common theory that this was due to the dragon's love for Rin.

Upon Rin's return things quickly headed to the final battle. During that battle Jon was killed and Jorah yelled at Rin to kill the Night King. Even with such power, it was difficult to kill the undead abomination.

Westeros Reborn
After the fighting things calmed down. Barristan Selmy had become the new Lord Commander of the Queensguard. Rin had decided to live in Westeros until her dying days and give up all she had earned in the Nightmare.

After two hundred years it was clear Rin and Jorah were immortal. While it was originally thought she had the lifespan of her dragon, it turned out that having the mantle of Lightbringer meant immortality. So both her and Jorah decided to leave so that new blood could rule Westeros for better or worse.

A Series of Adventures
Jorah and Rin spent centuries exploring different realities. Some were peaceful and others were embroiled in wars. It was during this time that he changed his last name to Kaari to both express his love for her and to make traveling in certain realities easier.

Westeros 3.0
After escaping the Andalites on the Yeerk Home World, Jorah found himself in another version of Westeros. Rin and him are unsure of the exacts of what this reality entailed. They know that Jon and Daenerys had a child but that the pair aren't together. The child lives with the Daenerys and Jorah of this reality.

They headed to Storm's End to see if Bronn would help them. After a brief conversation with him, the former sellsword agrees to help them. Bronn gives them the information they need before giving them a room. When the sellsword asks what to call Jorah, Rin says 'Robin' and he agrees.

In the room Rin and Jorah argue about what their next move should be. He is afraid of seeing Jon Stark again because he remembers how his died by the Night King's hand. His wife reassures him that she will kill R'hllor and then they will leave. He doesn't believe her but agrees.

Living in Storm's End is a living hell for Jorah Kaari. This due to the fact that Bronn has the exact opposite temperament of the former Mormont. He is thus relieved when Rin updates him about defeating R'hllor.

As Rin nears Storm's End, Jorah brings up the fact that he fears they will treat this reality's Daenerys Targaryen as the one Rin had to execute. She reassures her husband that they will most likely treat this reality's Daenerys well if they do end up staying. Upon Rin's arrival to their room, the pair make love.

TRIVIA
-Originally planned to kill Jorah off at the end of Between Two Worlds. He would've come back near the beginning of Crossing the Divide.
-Originally Rin was to meet Jorah on his quest to find a cure. He would've arrived in the Raqus Estate because Rin would've asked Franc Raqus to cure him. There would've been no romance between the two until Rin rescued Daenerys. I didn't know how long I would write the fic and didn't want to leave it hanging before the real action started. Hence I changed the beginning.
-By intertwining himself so close to Rin, he gained a few of the powers that she has. The most notable are immortality and resistance to fire.
-Jorah's last name was changed to Kaari to more easily tell him and the Jorah from Consequences of Ice and Fire apart.
-Jorah wears a mask that obscures his entire head so his real identity is hidden.
-Jorah's alias Robin comes from Robin Arryn who Rin executed to secure a bloodless victory over the Eyrie.
-Jorah tries to convince Rin to leave by making love to her. This backfires when his passions make him lose control of himself.
