Importance:
The mad Queen Daenerys Targaryen was furious at the perceived betrayal of Jorah Mormont and Rin Kaari. So after losing the Battle of the Eyrie, she went to Bear Island since that was the home of Jorah's House.
In was at that battle Daenerys was defeated by Rin. It was also there the entire truth of the Azor Ahai Prophecy was revealed: Jorah Mormont was Azor Ahai; Rin and Alexander were Lightbringer; and Daenerys Targaryen was Nissa Nissa.
