HISTORY
Before the Fic
This character is an original character and he has no backstory other than what the fic says.
Creation
Albert Wesker had decided to use clones in his fight against both Alice Abernathy and Rin Isaacs. As he wanted to ensure the quality of the clones he had one of Alexander Isaacs made. This clone was in charge of one of the cloning facilities.
Betraying the Umbrella Corporation
The clone was in charge of the facility that Rin infiltrated. Due to his growing affection for her, he hid her presence frin Wesker. It was she who gave him the name Samuel/Sam. One day she revealed who she really was and he ended up siding with her. Before they could leave, Alice's forces attacked.
They were then forced to be on their own for some time due to Rin being pregnant. After she gave birth, they made their way first to Eden Base that turned out to be destroyed. The Mormonts had left some of their own so both Alice and Wesker's forces would believe that an important base of their organization had been destroyed. In truth the Mormonts had already moved to a place which they called Winterfell.
Upon arriving at the city, Sam started his time in the Mormonts. At first he and Alex did not get along. Eventually, though, they made peace with each other so that Rin was happy.
The One Left Alive
Near the end of the war Alex was killed and Sam became his children's only father. When the war ended, Rin left and he became the only parent for his children. Over the years he only talked with the public if need be and he preferred being left alone.
Eventually Sam approached death. On his deathbed Eyrie and Eve stayed by his side. While he is scared, he manages to outwardly appear calm. He admits to his two children how imperfect of a man he was. He also talks about a machine he never finished that would have allowed him to find Rin. Quickly he loses all sense of where he is. He is able to make sounds even though no words leave his lips. After that he still moves his mouth but not even sounds come out. When Sam breathes his last breath, a flock of ravens mourn his passing.
TRIVIA
-I got Sam's name from one of the two first names I found for Doctor Isaacs
-I was originally going to have Sam be Alex's twin brother.
-While Eve Isaacs is not technically Sam's daughter, he considers her to be his own blood.
-Sam knew that Rin left because her living in two realities at once was tearing the fabric of reality apart. Still, he felt great pain after she left.
-Sam doesn't mind Eve and Eyrie's incestuous relationship. He only reprimands them if it has a chance of becoming public.
-Sam isn't allowed to go back to his old profession because of what he had done in the past.
