So Hurricane Ian is headed my way. Right now it doesn't seem like I'll get a direct hit and only experience Tropical Storm level winds. For those of you who aren't as lucky: please stay safe!

Know what makes a person feel loved? Finding out that the apartment complex you rent from has not been properly watching your house. A guy was able to take a shower with my hose a few days ago.

This becomes more worrying when most residents are very mentally disabled.

At the start of the year I lost my bird Peep. He was a pure yellow parakeet and had such an attitude. At least he was able to enjoy a final Christmas and New Year. Now me and revrezner are allowing Ghost (other parakeet) to interact with the cockatiels so she doesn't feel lonely. What's hilarious is that Navi and Jorah are both terrified of her. Though they are able to hang out peacefully most of the time.

Due to my vertigo, updating my fanfics has been a little more than hectic this year. Added to the vertigo delaying my fanfics is the fact I'm now releasing books on Amazon under the name Jash Kol-Ze.

So to make chapters come out more frequently, the only fic I'll be working on is Lynesse and after that I will finish Consequences of Ice and Fire (of which The Pull of Fate is the first part).

Life has really thrown me a lot of...rocks? Boulders? I'm doing my best to keep up with my writing when my health will allow. I recently had a spinal tap and then a blood patch because the former procedure ran into problems. All that is to say I had to spend around a week bedridden and hardly left my bed for weeks afterwards.

This has been one wild year. I am still suffering from vertigo that began in early January and I don't know when things will finally get better for me. I also learned of KDP Vella so I can start releasing original series in a format I'm more comfortable with.

It's been a little hectic as Christmas was...feels like lifetimes ago. I think tomorrow will be the first day nothing was going on since a week ago. So I might sleep for an entire week.

This has been a little bit of a hard time for me. I was sick for a little bit and wasn't better before Thanksgiving. I'm also going over how I can possibly earn more money.

Such as fiverr doesn't allow paid reviews anymore but for certain gigs you can choose to add an extra that's a book review. So I don't know if it's a trap because paid reviews aren't allowed but somehow book reviews as an extra are?

Know what really slows writing down? A tropical storm that forces me to not get on the computer. Luckily it hardly affected me so I just got a day where I didn't have to do anything.

The past two weeks have been hectic. Today was one of the rare days I didn't actually have to go anywhere. Such an awesome feeling to wake up and not have to rush out the door.

So the anime Parasyte is on Netflix. The library I lived by while growing up only had the first volume of the manga which I read multiple times. One of only two mangas I read. I forget the name of the other one. Need to read the whole manga one day when I have time.

This has sure been a hectic time for all of us. I hope that my fanfics have provided some relief. Sometimes you need to escape to a fictional world to keep sane.

I have been sick which means the latest chapter of Lynesse took forever to get out. Then updating that section seemed to take another few eons to me. I do not know what I'm sick with but hoping I'll get all better shortly.

For all those who have been waiting eagerly for every new chapter in The Pull of Fate, I'm sad to say it will go on hiatus. This so I can finish up Lynesse and At First Love quicker. My goal is to make Consequences of Ice and Fire (which The Pull of Fate is the first part) my only WIP fic and get a few chapters out per month.
