Variations: True Familiar, Temporary Familiar

Meaning: A member of a Beastclan that pairs up with a dragon. While a familiar does have a name, as long as they're paired with a dragon the dragon is not allowed to say it. If a familiar decides to stay with a dragon permanently (aka a true familiar), both will agree on a name for the familiar.

Once a familiar is bonded strongly enough with a dragon (which can only be done when a familiar becomes a true familiar) they can move on the dragon's skin like a tattoo.
